jDBexport 3.1.2 available

Dear jDBexport users,

today we announce the immediate availability of an updated version of the new product versionbranch 3.1 - this is a bugfix release and addresses a few additional features.

to name a few of these bugfixes or new/enhanced features:

• new JSON writer, allowing to create JSON files from your worksheets
• changed PDF writer, allowing to embed your own ttf or otf fonts
• enhanced layout for databases view
• bugfix for "corrupted" xlsx documents
• bugfix in support for Search-Engine-Friendly sites
• changed behaviour of the download page (now only opens a new window, when downloading from the administration backend)
• and a substantial number of smaller bugfixes

The download package does include the datagrid plugin and the datafield plugin, as well as the administration module and frontend module (all are considered STABLE). Please inform us, if you encounter any issues.

Together with the download package, you will find our new "ttfonts" module in the download area. This module is targeted at users, who want to embed their own TrueType fonts into their PDF documents. We described the nessessary steps to do this in our online documentation .

jDBexport versionbranch 3.1 is primarily targeted at Joomla 3.x and higher websites, but it also is compatible with Joomla 2.5
For new Joomla 2.5 installations we strongly recommend this version.
