Password PWNED 2.0.0 stable released

Dear Password-Pwned users,

We just made the 2.0 version of our Joomla! plugin available to you, which uses the new version 3 of Troy Hunt's HAVE I BEEN PWNED api.

We are sorry to inform you, that with this version we are forced to make a major change in our licensing model for the HIBP plugin. As explaind in detail in his respective blog post , Troy (who owns and operates the HIBP service) was forced to apply a usage fee on his API. This in turn forces us to switch from our original "onetime payment - lifelong subscription" to a yearly subscription fee model.

To keep the costs for you (and us) as low as possible, we utilise a TWO YEAR term subscription to the plugin (API usage, updates and support) which costs EUR 20,00 (plus VAT if applicable). With this model, we can keep our transaction fees on an acceptable level.

For users, who bought their active subscription before 2020, this change will take place on January 1st, 2021
For users, who bought their active subscription in 2020, this change will tak place on July 1st, 2021

And for both user groups, there is a 30 % discount on these subscription fees (will be sent by E-Mail to you as soon as possible).
